St Heliers Bay Cafe & Bistro

St Heliers Bay Cafe & Bistro

Melanie: Wood mushrooms, lemon, poached eggs, parmesan. Tangelo Juice. Soy Flat White.
The Place – A buzzing cafe with friendly wait staff.
The Food – Mmm, not my cup of tea. I could smell the mushrooms long before they hit my palate. Loved the eggs – cooked to perfection, but unfortunately the mushrooms were a bit too overpowering for my liking.
The Beverage – Delicious! Highly recommend their fresh juices and their coffee, I couldn’t fault.

Celine: Folded egg, smoked fish salad. Tangelo Juice. Trim Flat White.
The Place – Gorgeous fit-out and really liked that although it was packed we were acknowledged and seated immediately.
The Food – The smoked fish was tasty and sweet, the folded eggs perfectly cooked. Really nice all round’, although found the bread a bit doughy so a crunchy ciabatta may have been a better option.
The Beverage – Yum! Perfect all round!

Rating: 3/5
Don’t expect your standard bacon and eggs. An obviously well thought out menu with twists on the classics plus something a tad different. Taking a peek at their lunch and dinner menu, we’d come back here for the other two meals in the day and for one of the award winning gelatos on offer. Oh, and definitely for their excellent coffee.
